Roland Gift cd - Ever Released in the US?

Was the long awaited solo album debut for the former frontman of Fine Young Cannibals, ever released in the US? I picked up a promo 6 track cd yesterday (released in 2002). It is produced by David Z., with writers Sturken/Rogers. First single, 'It's Only Money'. is good and so are the rest of the tracks. Just thought I would ask

I always wondered whatever happened to Fine Young Cannibals. They had that big album in 1989,then seemingly disappeared.Did they ever record a follow-up?

Bio on the back says Gift was critically lauded for his post FYC film acting and musical score work.

Oh, the 80's big-headed front men. Why did so many go solo???? disbelief

They split up trying to record a follow up to The Raw & the Cooked sometime in the early 90s. Some tracks from the sessions were released on a compilation in 1996. Roland Gift's only post-Cannibals album was released two years ago and sunk without trace, despite containing a few great songs.

The Fine Young Cannibals appear to have reformed and are back on tour again.

Anxiety

I remember reading a review of Roland Gift's solo album a couple of years back, I think in Rolling Stone or Spin. The review wasn't very kind.
