Super 70's Soul Track Of The Day(3/01/04)...Leroy Hudson-A Lover's Holiday(1976)

Time for Brother 9/15 to really take ya'll back now.....This song was on the Custom Records label in 1976....This was the recording label Curtis Mayfield made his great 70's work on. Leroy Hudson was a very underrated R&B producer, singer and songwriter in the 70's. This song just has that good-go-out-to-the-park-and-have-a-barbecue vibe to it....Just a very joyous, yet laid back 70's sound to it.

When I listen to The Jacksons "Give It Up" on the Triumph album...I hear similiarities...hmmmm.

Anyway this is a great mid 70's soul song.

Enjoy,
Brother 9/15
