DJ Danger Mouse - The Grey Album

Has anybody heard of this album? It's a remix of Jay-Z's Black Album with The Beatles' White Album. Interesting to say the least... Jay-Z rapping over samples and loops of The Beatles. You can download it for free from http://windmond.dyndns.org/djvariable/ BE QUICK before he gets closed down by the men in suits.

It sounds very interesting but unfornately I can't download on this computer (which doesn't even have Realplayer for crying out loud). Anyway, thank you very much and I'll try to check it out on a better computer.

yeah---

DM just got issued a ceaseNdesist order by the powers that be EMI.

Jay-Z officialy released the acapella version of his album...basically inviting folks to drop new beats behind the rhymes. there has been several other verions of his BlackLP recently released, but apparently you dont mess with The Beatles catalogue wink

DM uppedtheante---he consistantly brings solid beats! if you have not-definitly chek his recent 'Ghetto Pop Life' album on Lex Records. pure sickness!!!

***also of interest are Nas albums revisited by The 9th Wonder 'Gods Stepson' & MF Doom's 'Nastradoomus Vol. 1 + 2'***

hey rock...have not heard of any Q-acapellas.

Jay's acapella's came out when the album did. they were only available on promo-vinyl & very limited (i have not heard of a CD version.)

at this point, your best bet would be to chek the various d/l sites. i know they are floating around. maybe ebay if you want the official promo.

let us hear the results of yer experiment if you come across them.

i wanna find the instrumental version of the grey album. in Beatiful-effect!
