Rick Springfield

Shock/Denial/Anger/Acceptance

Run Out and get this CD, hopefully U can find it though, supplies are limited since its on Ricks own Label but he is getting Distribution through RED/SONY. The Buzz has been incredible on this CD and it does not Disappoint, pure ROCK N ROLL, hard edged, raw, LOUD, No filler. Ricks Fan Base is incredible, I am part of his street team to get the word out about this CD, but U really should see how hard his fans work to get the word around. The goal is to get this CD to chart, if It does Chart it will be RICKS first chart appearance since 1987's Rock Of Life CD.

Rick from the other day

Heres RICKS "CHART" Success

SPEAK TO THE SKY 14 1972
JESSIES GIRL 1 1981
I'V DONE EVERYTHING FOR YOU 8 1981
LOVE IS ALRIGHT TONITE 20 1981
DON'T TALK TO STRANGERS 2 1982
WHAT KIND OF FOOL AM I 21 1982
I GET EXCITED 32 1982
AFFAIR OF THE HEART 9 1983
HUMAN TOUCH 18 1983
SOULS 23 1983
LOVE SOMEBODY 5 1984
DONT WALK AWAY 26 1984
BOP TIL YOU DROP 20 1984
BRUCE 27 1984 TRACK FROM 1978
CELEBRATE YOUTH 26 1985
STATE OF THE HEART 22 1985
ROCK OF LIFE 22 1988

Well thats Ricks TOP 40 chart success for singles, he had quite a few others that missed the Top 40 pre- Jessies Girl. But look at that Chart Life from 1981-1985, 15 TOP 40's and 4 straight Multiplatnum albums, WORKING CLASS DOG, SUCCESS HASNT SPOILED ME YET, LIVING IN OZ, HARD TO HOLD, and then the Platnum success of TAO and the Gold success of 1987's ROCK OF LIFE, his last chart entry. Since that time he's released KARMA in 1999, ALIVE in 2001, ALIVE the DVD (website only) in 2002, a side project group SAHARA SNOW in 1997 and of course BMG has packaged, re packaged, re re packaged his Greatest hits about 10 times in the last 5 years.

I saw him on the Wayne Brady Show yesterday.Him and Wayne performed the song "Jessie's Girl" together and it was hilarious.

My favorite songs by him are...

***"Don't Talk To Strangers"(1982)
***"What Kind Of Fool Am I?" (1982)
***"Human Touch" (1983)
***"Bop Til You Drop" (1984)---this is actually really funky, isn't it?

I like Rick's music, but WOW, has he had some work done on him. That face has been lifted, peeled, plucked and moisturized beyond recognition almost.

oh lawd! he's been pulled so much he almost looks younger than he did when he was on General Hospit-al!

umm umm umm, i still remember being in LUV with rick when i was a kid. my friends and i used to clammor around the tube to watch him on the soaps and shows like solid gold! does anybody remember what his soap opera moniker was? i didn't take my ginko biloba today and the old memory's not what it used to be...and wasn't his character hooked up with luke's sister bobbi? strangely this thread has brought up the kinda things that make me go "huhmmmmm"...

I once dated a guy for the sole reason that his name was Jesse and I wanted to be "Jesse's girl". Needless to say, that relationship didn't last.
