Omar: UK's D'Angelo Anybody hip to a cat from England named Omar? He's been considered UK's answer to D'Angelo. This is a cat who is by far so brilliant and he has been doing his thing for mad years. What do some of you all think or are you familiar with his music?

Did he do 'There's nothing like this?' I liked that. I do like his music.
I thought you meant Lemar for a moment... I really like Lemar. I wonder if he plays any instruments, or if he writes his own stuff. He has a cracking voice. [This message was edited Wed Feb 25 2:37:05 2004 by Therapy]

I remember his jam "Saturdays" from years ago...but America has been so brainwashed into what they should listen to (the masses) that he came and went in the blink of an eye here in the states. I really dug him, but it is hard to find his music here. I am the kind of person that I have to run across it to buy it, otherwise it is out of sight out of mind... Does he have a new album out?
