When I first heard that a movie was going to happen, I was really happy, basically because I heard that it would have the retro look and even use Old Film to give it that LOOK that the old TV show had. However the closer and MORE i heard about this Movie I got worried, and Now that I have seen the previews I am SICK. Ben stiller and Owen WIlson are jokes and have ruined yet another Film together, basically they have turned the 70's crime drama into DUMB and DUMBER 3, too bad Starksy and Hutch wasnt a comedy. Snoop dogg is totally useless in this movie, I thought he would do justice to Huggy Bear but they should have just gotten Antonio Fargas, and Carmen Electra is nothing but Eye Candy as usual and her part makes no sense. The ONLY good thing about this Movie is the FACT that because of it NOW the original series will get released On DVD, as for anything else, this film is useless.

I'm sure it's going to be pretty good. It's just a send-up, not a straight take, so view it that way. Personally, I enjoy these two actors together.
Either way, if you think this movie will be bad, then consider this (and I'm not lying here) - Jim Carrey is working on the film adaptation of THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN (and, yes, he's playing Steve Austin).

I would´nt care 2 much about the movie,
however the original TV episodes sounds really good 2 me.
It would sure bring back some childhood memories.
Starskey & Hutch & The Incredible Hulk were my favourites as a kid,
& I still remember the joy when I got the Starskey & Hutch
car 2 play with when I was about 6

Think about it though. Who would want a straight-up movie of Starsky and Hutch? It's a nostalgic piece but to make it interesting you have to do it either tongue-in-cheek or a straight up comedy. Say what you will about Owen Wilson but he and Stiller (the whole cast actually) were magic in Meet The Parents so give him a break. As for Snoop and Carmen, what did you expect? I haven't seen it and I know what I'm gonna get-- fake street cool and titties.
