Artists You'd Like To See Their Lives In Biographical Movies! Like Tina Turner and her "Whats Love Got to do with it?", Fankie Lymon & The Teenagers and their "Why Do Fools Fall In Love?", Natalie Cole and her "Angel Watches Over My Shoulder".
Here're my picks: Aretha Franklin-I'm just supriced they still didn't make a movie about her. She lived a life through mad changes, her story needs to be told. Chaka Khan-Like Aunt ReRe, this sista went "through the fire". Its really god's wonder that she's still alive considering that she been through a thick pile of shit enough to kill Mike Tyson himself. She kissed death in the face plenty of times, her movie would make an impact like Tina's Whats Love Got To Do With It. Miles Davis-The most influential horn player in jazz music that eva lived this life. But I'm not sure if people will get it considering that he lived a deep life. Marvin Gaye-Need I say more? Jackie Wilson-Check the REAL person behind Elvis's sound/music. If u thought that Elvis came up with a unique talent then you have another thang coming. Jackie neva got his props altho he was great innovator 4 a loooong list of people(Isley Bros, Stevie Wonder, MJ, Prince and on & on). Donny Hathaway-This man's story REALLY needs to be told. Can u even believe there isn't a book out-there about him? Makes me angry to think about that alone. Phyllis Hyman-Her life's story need to be told too. Like Donny, she was the victim of her own self-depression. They delievered HEALING music that could relate to alot of people(but themselves) and sadly they killed themselves b4 they ven realize how much love people got 4 them. Minnie Riperton-For living one helluva life, she indeed lived a happy and great life(maybe her own daughter could portray her). Thats all I could think of right now,,,what about ya?

All of your picks are great, but I especially think that there's a need for a Marvin Gaye biopic.

The Hilary Duff story starring Hilary Duff!
I think Aerosmith's story would make a good movie. Same for Donna Summer. The only problem with those movies is that they can be really good ("What's Love..." was amazing) and can also be very serious and boring and too dramatic. I think it would be important to add some humour into them as well.

some artists that spring 2 my mind immediately who's story I personally would really enjoy seeing on the big screen and would add to your excellent list are:
James Brown (!!!) Sam Cooke Otis Redding Bobby Womack Diana Ross Quincy Jones Count Basie oh, and a Michael Jackson bio could be a hit of course... but we'll have 2 wait if it'll be a happy ending or not before writing the script [This message was edited Sun Feb 22 10:59:30 2004 by Maze] Nostalgia just ain't what it used to be

Joe Meek. He was a British record producer in the late 50s and early 60s.
He virtually invented electronic pop music with his hit "Telstar" but he was a very troubled man. He ended up shooting himself in the head, I think.
