Old school poptrack of the day Starbuck'sMoonlight Feels Right 1976

The wind blew some luck in my direction
I caught it in my hands today
I finally made a tricky french connection
you winked and gave me your o.k.
I'll take you on a trip beside the ocean
and drop the top at Chesapeake Bay
ain't nothing like the sky to dose a potion
the moon'll send you on your way

Moonlight feels right, moonlight feels right.

We'll lay back and observe the constellations
and watch the moon smiling bright
I'll play the radio on southern stations
'cause southern belles are hell at night
you say you came to Baltimore from Ole Miss
a class of '74 gold ring
the Easton moon looks ready for a wet kiss
to make the tide rise again

Moonlight feels right, moonlight feels right.

We'll see the sun come up on Sunday morning
and watch it fade the moon away
I guess you know I'm giving you a warning
'cause me and moon are itching to play
I'll take you on a trip beside the ocean
and drop the top at Chesapeake Bay
ain't nothing like the sky to dose a potion
the moon'll send you on your way

Moonlight feels right, moonlight feels right.

headbang oh man, there you go again, readin my mind.I LOVE THIS SONG! The summer of '76,this song ruled pop radio. This band had a light,breezy,synth-heavy sound.Do you remember their 1977 hit "Everybody Be Dancin"? That song was cool too.

A great song...ONE OF MY FAVORITE POP SONGS OF THE 70's. That vibraphone solo in the middle was kind of smooth.....GREAT STUFF!!!!!

nod 1976 is the year I wish I could go back to.I remember what a big deal the Bicentennial celebration was.I also met President Ford that summer, shook his hand at a campaign stop (it was a field trip).

Hey guys in 1976..a lot of artists were making references to the Bicentennial year. Remember..that year was called "The Spirit Of 76'"....and in 1976...Americans were wearing red white and blue buttons stickpins and T-shirts that said "The Spirit Of 1976".

I remember that year giving us some good soul/R&B music....Hey guys remember albums like this.....

Commodores-Hot On The Tracks
Ohio Players-Contradiction
Earth Wind And Fire-Spirit
Emotions-Flowers

AND OF COURSE AN ALBUM FOR THE AGES.....

Stevie Wonder-Songs In The Key Of Life..

And a little kid by the name of Prince...was cutting demos and trying to get a foot in the music industry.

GREAT MUSIC..for a GREAT TIME.....for a GREAT YEAR in a GREAT DECADE!!!!!
