Remember the enduring classic "Just One Look" and that great 60s rarity "I'll Do (Anything He Wants Me To Do)"? One of the most powerful voices in R&B was silenced several days ago by emphysema. She was 67.

I knew Doris from the album she recorded for Apple Records. Heckuva voice.
