[This message was edited Mon Feb 23 17:57:23 2004 by Adisa] Check this book if u think I'm only gossiping : "Aretha From These Roots" by Aretha Franklin  yeah,I read that Aretha book and there WAS a little friction between Luther and Aretha when he was producing her 1983 album 'Get It Right'.According to Aretha,he was trying to make her hit a particular note,and she absolutely HATES for someone to tell her how to sing...lol...if I'm not mistaken,she had this same problem with Curtis Mayfield during the recording of her 1976 'Sparkle' album.
