nod yeah,I read that Aretha book and there WAS a little friction between Luther and Aretha when he was producing her 1983 album 'Get It Right'.According to Aretha,he was trying to make her hit a particular note, and she absolutely HATES for someone to tell her how to sing...lol...if I'm not mistaken, she had this same problem with Curtis Mayfield during the recording of her 1976 'Sparkle' album.

You gotta love Aretha, she really stands her ground and lays down the law lol

I hate 2 admit it but RnB/Soul sistas are the tackiest women in industrey, they would rather cut themselves in pieces rather than make peace with the world.

Anita Baker
Luther Vandross
Natalie Cole
Gladys Knight
Cissy Houston
Mavis Staples
Patti LaBelle
Kathleen Battle or Jessye Norman (1 or the other)

Who is the GULLIEST woman in the industrey in yo opinion?

Yo Harley, what have you heard about ol' Cissy and Mavis? I know with Cissy the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree and judging from her ghetto-ass daughter, I can only imagine! lol

All goes down to that book!

She did a duet with Mavis(on what album I don't know) and Mavis came back to check the result only to find out that her vocal's volume is alot lower than Aretha.

I don't remember the whole quote from Aretha but it was something to the effect "You ain't gonna sing louder than me in my own damn album!".

Another funny moment from Aretha is she gave the finger gesture to DIANA ROSS at the White House long before the book was released lol

I thought that was the name of it. I saw the reviews on Amazon.com and kinda figured the readers just wanted more dirt. I think I may check it out afterall because they have it for $0.48. thumbs up!
