I usually don't listen to the kiddy top 40 station, but last night I heard Love Me For A Little While by Janet Jackson and have fallen in love with it. It's by far the first great single I heard this year, and kind of feels like Dirty Mind era Prince. Some keyboards, just SLIGHTLY dirty without being too over the top, and above all VERY catchy.

i love the new song! i am a bit worried that it's not strong enough to be a lead single though. i mean, it has no crossover potential. it's great for the typical janet fan but i don't know if it will stand out enough for the general public. it seems to be doing very well on radio though, so maybe it is what she needs to do. it is kind of an unexpected song (by janet standards, i mean). maybe with a remix and hot video it will be strong enough.

Well, I'm not your typical Janet fan at all, and I love it, if that means anything.

I like it but dont LOVE it. It should be an album cut, but not lead single. I hope that Janey West single blocks it out.

But i do like the song myslef yes. But MJ''s "One More Chance" is better.

When I first heard it, I hated it. But now, after hearing it about five times, I think it's okay. I don't change the station if it comes on the radio. It doesn't make me want to buy her album, though. It's a strange choice for a first single, if it really is her first single. I think she should release another before releasing her album. It's not unheard of.

I had my best galpal in the car.. when "Love Me.." came onto the radio, we jammed that song, windows down, loud as we could! The song is pure fun (pointing at each other for "frui-oo-oo-oot" ) and should last into the summer.

The actual new single "I Want You" might be even better. It's a slow jam.
