Minnie Riperton's daughter... The lovely Mya Rudolph on SNL.
Just found that out. She's a cutie, too. I noticed the last year or so she's been doing more African-American characters, but she used to downplay her heritage. Anyways just thought I'd share!  | |

Funny, that she's doing SNL now. I remember seeing pictures of her (and her brother with their parents) in Jet Magazine when she was a little girl. Never in a million years could I have imagined that she would grow up an make a name for herself in comedy. Good for her! | |

I wanted to find a picture of Maya when she was a little girl, but I came across this gem instead. I ACTUALLY REMEMBER this Jet cover from 1976!
