Ashford & Simpson-Performance I recently rediscovered this LP from 1981. Ashford & Simpson is the couple that started off their career with writing the Ray Charles classic Let´s go get stoned & then headed on 2 Motown where they delivered those classic duets with Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell. They went on 2 deliver hitsongs 4 Diana Ross,Gladys Knight,Chaka Khan & Stephanie Mills as well as recording classics 4 them selfves. It´s always nice 2 watch them perform as they always seem 2 B so in love. I have this performance from Saturday night live when they do So so satisfied & they can´t take their eyes off each other. This live recording is really cool cuz U get 2 hear all them classics performed by the songwriters. Here they do songs like You´re all I need to get by,Ain´t nothing like the real thing,Ain´t no mountain high enough,Landlord,The Boss & Clouds They definitly should release this 1 on cd. /peace Manki

I was starting to trip because I KNEW I had their GH comp somewhere! Found it! Anyway, my favorite song recorded by them is "Found a Cure." "Babies" and "Solid" are nice too.
