1970-1979 Old School 70's Club...Who Wants To Join?(wink)..Super 70's Soul Song Of The Day Natalie Cole-Inseparable

This song is just so beautiful and graceful.....I never get tired of listening to this track. This song brings back many memories of the 70's when I received a radio as a Christmas present in Dec of 1975. Back in the 70's, RADIO WAS GOOD because the music of that day was GOOD. I would just turn on the radio and listen for hours on in.....NEVER getting bored...back then in 1975 when I got my radio I would hear stuff like.....

Spinners-Games People Play

Silver Convention-Fly Robin Fly

War- Low Rider

Earth Wind And Fire-Can't Hide Love

Ester Phillips- What A Difference A Day Makes

Stuff like that.....AND THIS LOVELY song!!!! Sometimes I think this song is too short....but on the other hand I think the length of the song is just right.....Natalie puts a great vocal on this one....in a way it is sort like she was paying tribute to her father. As he made songs with a style and structure as this gem. Ironic, cause back then she was trying to be noted in the music industry as her own person and not Nat King Cole's daughter.

As it is though, this song is a classic.

Enjoy,
Brother 9/15

Bro915,I hear ya! Back in the 70s,you could listen to the radio all day long and hear one great song after another. The good music just flowed non-stop.Arguably,soul music was at it's highest point (creatively) in the 70s.

I have a funny Natalie Cole story.Back in spring or summer of 1977,my father took me on a fishing trip.He brought a radio with him and we kept hearing the song "I've Got Love On My Mind" over and over and over. That song was all the rave, and people kept requesting it.My dad looks at me and asks "Didn't they just play this song, like 30 minutes ago??".

lol eventually,we're gonna have to start a thread about 70s music in general and why we love it so much...lol...
