I heard that Patti Labelle is replacing JJ not 0+> Everybody is saying that Prince is replacing Janet's spot but I thought he already had a performance in the Grammys b4 the whole situation...Anyway I heard that Patti Labelle was gonna take her place.Did anybody else hear that...probaly another rumor

Janet was supposed to present an award in one of the categories Luther Vandross was named. I don't think, as of Boobgate last week, they even knew what the opener would be doing (though I'm sure it involved Beyonce cuz she had so many nominations). I never heard any plans of Janet performing, but Prince had been scheduled to appear at least since the Maceo gig; maybe it was that way all along. Kinda sweet how Prince turned this trip into a total music junket. 2 gigs in Vegas, HOB LA cameo and a soldout set. plus GRAMMY openner. Whew! all he needs to do is get plugged into the FUNK segment. test | |

Yahoo News is reporting that Janet and Justin Timberlake are still both scheduled to attend tonight, but they don't offer any clues as to the situation with the Luther tribute. Also, they don't mention the supposed apologies that Janet and Justin might have to utter on-air. | |
