Jerry Knight was a member of Raydio. As a solo artist,he had a few hits---"Overnight Sensation" (1980) and "Perfect Fit" (1981).He teamed up with Ollie Brown in 1984,and they had a huge summer hit with "Breakin...There's No Stoppin Us" from the 'Breakin' movie. They followed it up with the theme song from the 'Breakin' sequel ("Electric Boogaloo").Jerry then went on to write and produce songs for other artists, including The Jets.

He's actually the one singing lead on their 1978 debut hit "Jack and Jill".
