George Michael - Patience release date and tracklist I haven't seen this mentioned yet. www.georgemichael.com has a Patience pop-up advertising the release date, March 15 (a Monday - must be the European release - hopefully this is being released in the US on March 16). The tracklist is as follows:
1. Patience 2. Amazing 3. John and Elvis are Dead 4. Cars and Trains 5. Round here 6. Shoot The Dog 7. My Mother Had a Brother 8. Flawless (Go To The City) 9. American Angel 10. Precious Box 11. Please Send Me Someone (Anselmo's Song) 12. Freeek! '04 13. Through 14. Patience Pt. II Interesting to see Shoot The Dog is included, as well as an updated Freeek! (in his tradition of updating songs, like Freedom '90, Star People '98 etc). I thought I'd see more excitement about this here. I hope this is getting a release in the US. If not, I'll just need to buy it on import, I guess. | |

THIS IS VERY GOOD NEWS!!! As a fan, I anticipate the release of this record...A lyricist like GM is sorely needed in today's pop music climate.

From what I heard, the US release won't be until May, at the earliest.
It's only in Europe for the March release date. I'm also excited for this CD, but the song amazing is far from it. I don't want to offend any fans, but that song is cheesy and dated. Let's hope the rest of it is better! If it breaks when it bends, you better not put it in. | |

i like the new song. i like how it starts kind of quiet or low key and then it just grows. for the american audience, though, he should release a hot dance song to remind people why he is great. | |
