Phillip Bailey's rendention of Minnie Riperton/Mariah Carey (take your pick) sucked, but overall I enjoyed their set. I was especially amused by Verdine White's outfit!!!

Both EWF and P-funk have seen better days when it comes to performing. As much as I love those two legendary groups, Robert Randolph and the Family Band really made that whole funk segment. | |

the funk segment was okay but george clinton did look like he just rolled outta the crackhouse. he's had problems for awhile now. he didn't even sing that much at the grammy's, it was mostly his back up singers.  | |

I missed it all - but friends tell me that the P-Funk Depends sponsored team went out into the crowd, which was coo, but the return trip looked like it was a bit of a challenge.

Don't hate---P-Funk brought the party to the grammys. It was basically a 'pop'ularity contest and got "loosened" up. GC did call and response went out in the audience and people got off they asses. P-Funk dide everything they didn't want that's why they held off on 50 cent, Nelly and P-Diddy. Did he see the P-Funk member flashing his nipple...LOL (priceless)
My dad says EWF sucked too. I didn't think it was that bad. I'll have to watch it again. | |
