I'ma Go Out On a Limb Here...

...and say this was one of the better Grammy shows

Prince rocked

Christina rocked

Alicia Keys rocked

Outkast rocked

White Stripes rocked

Sting and SeanPaul rocked

Earth Wind & Fire rocked

George Clinton was okay... (mofo has lost his voice... but the jam was great, Bootsy was up there too!)

Justin Timberlake rocked

Good music was heard, great talent showed up to present. I'm not a big fan of Beyonce... but, eh... I'll leave it at that.

Overall it was a great show... people don't be too cool to agree. I call it like I saw it!

I agree...it was an enjoyable Grammys for once.

I'd like to add Sarah McLachlan to the list of great performers..I know there are haters here...but I just thought it was very beautiful and Alison Krauss did a great job on it too. Sarah looked great with her long curly locks! Can't wait for her to tour!

Proud Sarah fan.

It was an overall good show, but...

Alicia Keyes was out of her league taking on that song, and Phillip Bailey's voice has seen much better days.

The Foo Fighters kicked ass, but Chick Corea was very unecessary.

And wait, did you actually say Sting and Sean Paul Rocked????

OH HELL NO! omfg

I mean Sting is class, but Sean Paul straight stank up the joint, and it wasn't funky.

Anxiety

George Clinton scurred me. It was like he was screaming at the neighbor kids to get out of his yard.

u forgot caline dione (forgive spelling)

for someone who set was sabotaged from the get go... she handle herself like a true professional.

and as for Beyonce... i felt her performance "dangerously in love" it brought tears to my eyes, because to be dangerously in love is a beautiful thing. and her performance was in my own opinion the most beautiful performance.

the funk all stars... when they brought out the "all skee skee skeee" part... classic

as for Sting... all i could think about was how he was hyping prince during his Red carpet interview with Joan rivers. Yet when he took to the stage... He blew Prince away.

as 4 the White Stripes... Thats how they rock in NYC down in the underground.

Justin Timberlake... his set was Good. even brought out some Jazz to spice it up.

Xtina... Good performance.

and as 4 Princes performance with beyonce... There was no Electric Purple, but hey Purple Rain was recorded 20 years ago... i just think it suck that that Album was recorded with a BAND... The Revolution and only one person from the group is getting all the credit for it, but hey what ever.

Let's see... Prince wrote it, produced it, performed it, arranged it, composed it, sang lead vocal on it, performed the incredible guitar and piano verses on it, put it in his movie, titled the movie after his song... and is getting all the credit for the song?

eek

Yeah, I don't get it either... rolleyes

Im sorry June7... my bad...

yes her performance was ok but u have to look at the circumstances. No monitors and broken mikes... and she still performed with grace and style, thats what make this performance stand out.

just my thought.

Electric Purple,
prince
