i don't know, man. all of these hollywood award shows (oscar, grammy, etc.) all seem like self-celebrating awards. i mean, its the same four people that win all night. everyone pats everyone on the back and congratulates them on being 'the bomb' this year. everyone brags about the clothes and jewels they're wearing. its like a big "i love me" showcase.

Yep, it's the music industry patting itself on the back. Political, really. At least we get a couple good performances somewhere in the middle of all that.
