Madonna and Prince...Icons of 80's & 90's -Ageless!!!

Madonna, looked fabulous, working the hair, boots, and of course that sexy red dress...she announced 'STING AND SEAN PAUL'...Madonna looked 25, instead of 45 and you could tell she was feeling good...the way homegirl walked to the MIC!

She was on point!!!

as for PRINCE...Hmmm PRINCE worked that Purple Suite with that Gold Hanky, Shirt and Tie...dancing his a** off in the pumps to match and the hair, eyes and make up was on point!

PRINCE welcome back to the world of pop!!!
You let these young kids have it on that guitar...and Beyonce what can I say...WOW!

Kinda reminded me of Ike and Tina!!!
Beyonce should really get in the studio with PRINCE!
Great Chemistry...I'm looking for a strong sexy soulful ballad...from the two!

Yeah...LIL MAN was sporting that Purple Suit to the max, I've said it once before, the way he's dressing now-a-a-days is 3 times better as that crap he was wearing back in the 80's...It definitely befits him as he has gotten older...and Madonna looked great, I got to admit...

Yea... they're true icons solidified!!!

I missed Madonna walking out on stage.. I only caught her introducing Sting and Sean paul and saw a glimpse of her boots and red dress.. From what i saw, she looked nice.. except her arms are WAYYY to manly!

I'm thinking Madonna could have waited until after Yoko was done crying over her dead husband to bust out laughing. But I'm kinda sensitive that way.

Hmmm...I didn't see that. But people have been laughing at Yoko for years (Howard Stern's legendary on-air rants about her commercialization of John's image are particularly vitriolic). Maybe Madonna's bullshit detector just went off, who knows.

I would think Madonna would consider herself in a higher league than that of Howard Stern. And there was nothing particularly silly about Yoko's speech that I could decipher. I know how easy the media has made it for us to villainize the woman, but Madge could have at least shown a bit of class for Lennon. After all, her irreverent, rowdy days are supposed to be behind her, right? rolleyes

I wasn't saying it was justified in the least, but was she laughing at Yoko or at something else? We don't know. Considering all the fuckups that night, perhaps someone pulled a "soy bomb" stunt onstage wink I didn't see her laugh, though, so I can't really comment.

Remember this? That was classic.

Why oh why is Madonna so obsessed with herself? She managed to reduce a legendary musician like Sting to "the guy who introduced me to my husband". Sean Paul (who should have his ass beat for mangling Roxanne) was just some dude who Madonna didn't have lunch with.

Actually, I believe she did call him one of the greatest musicians of our time. And Sean Paul was "one of the hottest acts of the year" or something like that (if she had introduced him as "overrated turdburgler" I would have been happier). Introducing someone as your friend does not mean you're self-obsessed. I guess you take away what you want from a speech.

Besides, if you want to talk about ego and self-centredeness, Sting himself makes an easy target wink.

If you noticed over the past several years at their tv appearances...you will hardly EVER see MJ or Prince (sometimes Madonna)introduced...This is simply to imply that no introduction is needed{this may be the way THEY want it}...It is also worth mentioning that these artists are also legends...Introductions are more so needed for new and upcoming artists...Plus when Prince, Madonna and Mike take the stage (without the introductions) it adds intensity and excitement to their performance. That could be very well the effect that they're looking for. They're very detailed and meticulous about their music and stage performances.
