I bet Luther really wishes he cancelled his tribute now!

Patti Labelle in a push-up top (she too old to for that)

Alicia Keyes in a cinderella gown with a 5 minute too long performance

Technicians on stage

Celine Dion tapping on the mike and having her earpiece hang down

this was horrible.

what a farce for the premier Music awards

LOL! Could you imagine that accent yelling at you?

Anyway, who thought that Celine's phoned-in performance with techincal diffculties would be better than Alicia Keys. Whenever I start liking Alicia Keys, she does something like that. You almost wish Simon Cowell where there to say "What the fuck was that". And it wouldn't stop! It's very encouraging to heat Luther doing better. Another highlight of the show, I guess. This year had some moments! Good moments!

The technicians were on stage because apparently the house didn'thave their sh#! together and Celine's monitor wasn't working.

She was tapping on the mike because she COULDN'T HEAR ANYTHING without the monitor. They brought her a working mike, but hadn't managed to fix the monitor problem in a timely fashion, so girlfriend (and all you other singers/musicians out there KNOW what I'm talking about) had the good sense to drop the damn ear monitors and focus on Richard to get through the song and not waste broadcast time. For those of you who are not familiar with singing with large house systems, what you don't know is that when one is singing on stage (and especially in large venues), they cannot hear their accompanying musicians, so you need your monitor (connected by your lil earpiece) to actually HEAR what's happening on stage next to you, believe it or not, so that you can keep your pitch, time, and ect.
For me, when she popped those pieces out of her ears and just started SINGING in a venue that big.., I was completely proud of her as vocalist because the level of concentration and ability you need to get through a mess like that...In a situation like this, I would say that it's not the artist's fault vs. the house...

...As for Alicia, I still appreciated what she set out to do, although singing Superstar in Luther's key is pretty damned hard for alot of women I know, so I wish she would have just done it it a key more comfortable for her.

...and as for Patti-Patti-since when have we NOT noticed that she has bazoogas the size of Texas, and since when are we not used to seeing a hint of her cleavage? You act like old girl was pulling a Pam Anderson or Anna Nicole Smith on ya, lol!!!
