JT impressed me at the Grammys

I gotta say, Justin Timberlake's performace at the Grammys impressed me. Considering the background he comes from and all, it was really cool to see him sit down at the piano and jam instead of turning it into a big dance production. He's becoming a musician, which is what the industry needs right now! It was also really cool that he had Arturo Sandoval up there, man that cat can PLAY! And he wasn't even playing up to where he normally does 2nite!

I agree,J.Timberlake trying to find some funk/soul to sprinkle on his bubble gum style is lookin a bit shaddy. He looked like a puppet on a string.

Who said anything about his race? The fool just dont have any soul because some do and some dont, not because he's white.Anne Lennox,Joe Crocker,A.J Croce,Christina Aguilera and Van Morrison on top of a list of 1000's have just as much soul/funk or whatever you wanna call it as anyone.

As much as I was hoping he'd get hissed and booed, I really did like his performance. Biotch.

Crazyhorse...this kid has SOUL.

He is just in the beginning stages of his
guitar and piano skills...but give him
credit for learning to play.

He'll be around for quite awhile, so get
used to him.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

dammit, dammit, dammit, I was hoping not to like it either but he tore it up. I don't think he played more than 4 notes on the keyboards though (I gotta find sumthin' to hate on) but he sang his ass off and his backup singers kicked ass. I loved his little back and forth with Arturo when A first came out.

It was one of the best performances of the night...dammit.

I bet part of that was because CBS must have had their interns handling audio and equipment! I know it affected Prince, Beyonce, Sting, Celine and George Harrison's wife.
When it comes to funk, i am junkie

I completely agree.

I think they were more worried about working out the time delay than about fixing their equipment!
