She's mo' beautiful in person. She's doing the independent thing nowadays and forming a funk/rock/jazz fuse band as I hear. I also hear that she's doing loads of gigs in NYC, is it true?

I'm going to track this one down. I'm sure I can find it dirt cheap in a recka stow around here. It was great one. This was a post about her not to long ago and I think she just released a record in Europe or Japan, her fourth one. Only her first two got released here and "Man" (I think) was released in 1996 (?) so it's been quite a while.

Yeah I used to really like her too. Don't know what happend to her though. I always think her of as being a "woman's woman" because of the themes of her songs.

Neneh does alot of collaborations.Her music is too intelligent for the average listener(here in the states.) She is one of those artists that like to challenge themselves and their listeners. She did an album worth of songs with Tricky. It was supposed be released as an EP but it never materialized. Eventually the tracks were released as b-sides on both artists' maxi singles. Tricky also did a song with Wendy & Lisa called "Time" aka "Time Slippin" which was a b-side to "Money Greedy" from the album, "Angels With Dirty Faces."
