The Velvet Rope Tour

ok, so yeah, i'm procrastinating on my mid term studies, lol! anyway, though, i'm watching the velvet rope show and i'm still amazed at how great this show was. from the second the book opens until the very end, it was an exciting show. i especially loved the break down in nasty boys (just after she yells "miss jackson, if your nasty")! and let's not even talk about throb!

i can' wait for her to bring this new cd and tour!

This was the best big budget tour I've seen to date. I've seen a LOT of concerts, but th Velvet Rope tour was amazing. It was so well done that it still would have been good if Janet wasn't there. lol
Mind you, this was different from musician-based band shows like Prince, Zapp, Gap Band, Van Halen, etc. It was more like a Broadway production. Very well done. The All For You tour was very tame in comparison. Madonna has had some interesting shows, but I thought janet's was arranged better and had a lot more continuity than Madonna's.

yup! everything, down to the set design had to do with what was happening in janet's mind. it was a great concept and brilliant execution. and you're so on point with the broadway comparison. the set changes and costume designs were just amazing!

i hope she uses that tour as a model for the next one. not that i want her to repeat the same thing, but maybe focus on the style of the velvet rope show and incorporate that style in this tour.

It was absolutely amazing. There are really no words for it. Janet is one of the greatest performers of all time. Even if you're not a Janet fan, there's no denying that this was an incredible show.
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.
