Question For The Fleetwood Mac Fans re: Center Channel Mixes

I recently obtained the Center Channel Mixes of the "Say You Will" and "Rumours" album. Are center channel mixes of any of their other albums circulating?

If you haven't heard them, the Rumours one is really amazing. The Say You Will one is pretty scary listening to some of Stevie's vocals isolated. You can tell she has some miles on her!

Interesting... Thanks!

You can almost rest assured that the boots will come out on a more definite basis than their official stuff!

One other question... are these circulating because the albums are released on DVD Audio or SACD or does the source of these have good connections?

Anyone?!

Believe it or not I haven't heard the Channel Center mixes b/c I haven't had time to download them...what's the difference b/t those and the CD versions?

Purplegypsy, drop what you are doing and GET THESE NOW!!!

They are such a bizarre listening experience... the only thing you can hear is what was/is in the center channel of the mixing board... hence there are instruments that you can't hear at all, vocals you can't hear at all, etc... On the Rumours center channel mixes for example, on the Lindsey/Stevie songs, there's parts where you are hearing them harmonize almost a capella!!! There's also certain background vocals that you can hear much more clearly.

The same concept is true for the Say You Will center channel mixes, but the problem is, they all sound so weathered! Stevie's voice (now) isolated is SCARY!!!

The ones I know of that are circulating are a really low bit-rate, but still enjoyable!

If you havent already, get yourself the DVD Audio versions of RUMOURS & SAY YOU WILL.The 5.1 mix is incredible and they used alternate mixes on some of the songs(i.e. you can hear Nicks on "Oh Daddy".)I would imagine that is where these "center channel" mixes are coming from.

Also,If youre interested, there is a DVD Audio version of Peter Green's FM Live at The BBC.
