ANY Brian Ferry Fans out there?

I am FINALLY getting into him and I know he's been around for years...I've always liked "Slave TO Love" since 9 1/2 weeks came out in 1986..but I'm starting to appreciate all his music...very sensual vibe...

I second "Kiss and Tell" and I also love "More Than This" and "Don't Stop the Dance." I guess those songs were from the 80's, and that's the style that I'm used to.

I like Slave to Love as well. I gotta check them out more than I have, if only because they are one of Duran's influences. Same with Bowie. I feel like I should check them out since they inspired the band that inspired me.

Actually I just got the Avalon cd. I listened to it once. So I'm mainly just familiar with the singles I've heard on the radio.

The whole 9-1/2 Weeks soundtrack rocks though.

I'm not really up on Ferry's solo stuff, but I do love Roxy Music. They were one of the forefathers of New Wave, if you ask me. big grin

That's Bryan with a "Y", and yes, I'm a big fan of the man.

I liked him until I read an interview in which he admitted that he goes fox hunting.

Now I just think he's a useless cunt.

Foxes are a fucking pest. Kill 'em all! Good on Bryan!

Bryan Ferry rules! I didn't really become aware of him til his Boys and Girls album and the few other songs that hit kinda big. He's mad talented though. I looove the songs Wasteland and Windswept.
