What's up with Morrissey? I tried, unsuccessfully, to find out what Morrissey has been up to. Anyone else know? Any new albums? New tour? Reuniting with The Smiths? Lol. |

All I know is that he signed to Sanctuary (a BMG owned label that has recently made a home to such big-but-not-big-selling-acts like The Cure, Ozzy, Megadeath, Blondie) and there is an album planned for a '04 release.

Ignore the gay rumors. Moz is in the studio right now in England finishing up his new album entitled, "You Are The Quarry". I think the release date is set for May. I don't know about a Smiths reunion anytime soon For all the latest news on Morrissey I recommend this site:

That's the site I checked, but couldn't find any album info. So May, huh? Actually I jest about the reunion thing because a few people on the VH1 Bands Reunited message board were hoping that it would happen. Now the Smiths reuniting - that would be a SHOW! |

Hey, thanks for the info and the links!! But as for ignoring the gay thing...are you serious? I don't really care about artist's private lives and generally don't know much about them...but he's written quite a few songs that sure seem to me to be about being in the closet. Does he have a girlfriend? Has he ever? Does it matter either way? Just wondering. Like I said thanks much for the linxx! No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. "You Are The Quarry" The album is released on the 3rd of may. The photograph of Morrissey on the CD/album You Are The Quarry is taken by American photographer Greg Gorman. Songs include: "I Have Forgiven Jesus" "Come Back To Camden" "How Can Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel?" "I'm Not Sorry" The Smiths will never reunite. I saw a recent Morissey documentary and based on what he said a Smiths reunion will never happen. He had some ill words(I forget his comments) for the drummer,Mike Joyce, who was pimping him for money a few years back in court.. | |
