The Producer of the infamous "Joyce" recording

Okay, I googled the producer of the CD, Levoy Dewey, and he has his own website (he too is based in Texas). No mention of JOYCE, but u can contact him through the website. http://levoydewey.com/

Maybe this guy might know her current whereabouts?

If not, maybe this producer can give us a blow by blow account of the "JOYCE" recording sessions? A real behind the scenes insight of the whole recording session.

Anyone up for doing this? If so, keep us all informed!

(We are slowly getting closer & closer!)

I tried to reach Levoy Dewey, but he is out of town filming his portion of VH1's Joyce DRIVEN special.

So i guess

Prince is to Vanity

as

Levoy Dewey is to Joyce?

The album came out in '83, I wonder if Joyce is rockin' these tracks with a Linn drum?

Man, I always wondered about the writers credits "J. Drake/L. Dewey" on Prince's b-side "God"..
