311 does "Lovesong" by the Cure what do you guys think of 311's cover of The Cure's LOVESONG? it's from the Adam Sandler movie "50 first dates." the soundtrack is all 80s covers. I love 311's cover-it didn't ruin the original-just anohter sweet take... Let the rain come down...17 days.... | |

311's great...maybe just cause they're from my home town Omaha, NE. They're also pretty saavy artists...they didn't screwed out of their publishing. I have a respect for artists that are smart about their situation | |

I always hated 311 with a passion, but they did a descent job with this song. I would recommend Jack Off Jill's version of Love Song, it's excellent. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "
