You should be watching Bowie, but you just can't pull yourself away from the charms of the 'little man' ! lol!no. really, i'd be at the bowie show. for a ton of different reasons, really. i have only seen bowie 5 times while i've seen prince probably close to 25 or 30. i enjoy bowie's work, as a whole, more than prince's. prince's live shows have become predictable. bowie is much more gracious and appreciative...and as a broke mf, i like that!

In all fairness, it's a tough choice.
I think a Prince concert is prone to more spontaneity than a show on a Bowie tour - you're rarely if ever gonna see ol' Uncle Dayvid break out his sax and bust out with an extended instrumental jam with the band - but on the other hand Prince has been doing some of the same damn medleys for years and at least Bowie keeps the feel and arrangements of his successive tours fresh and distinctive. I'd rather see a Bowie concert live and in the flesh. I'd rather hear a live Prince bootleg. | |

I would choose Prince, though. And I'd definitely choose a Prince Aftershow. That's the difference, Prince can seriously jam. | |
