Underappreciated album appreciation - Laurnea "Betta Listen"

This is an album I never see discussed around here. There is so much positivity on this album. Her voice is stunning and the music is jammin. Raphael Sadiq makes a cameo on "Over and Over" which is an absolutely incredible song. Her song "Infatuation" sounds like something Prince coulda done.

I love this album so much. Any other fans of this album and artist out there?

"Infatuation" is a song I still play to this day. Too bad I can't say the same for the rest of her album. I was dissappointed to say the least, but she deserved a shot with a follow up album. The girl really could sing and she was pretty cute too. Sad how she just fell off, never to be heard from again.

My sista played that album 2 death when it 1st came out by 1997.

She has that soprano thang going on so much, its obevious that she takes alot of notes from the crystalline of soul music Miss Deniece Williams.
