Betty Davis...Funk Goddess Are there any Betty Davis admirers on the Org? I would like to open a discussion on her and her music. What do you know about her? (Besides the basics) She was married to Miles and she influenced his style in the early 70's bridging the gap of Funk and Jazz, and Rock. She was the go between for her husband and Jimi Hendrix. There are rumours that are persistent to this day that she died of a drug overdose. But a couple of years ago some azz posted her home phone number address on the net and she started getting all of these calls. She said that she didn't want to relive the past and to kindly leave her be. I have never heard of any live shows circulating or any video either so if anyone knows...hook a brotha up.
