Martika "Toy Soldiers" I woke up this morning with this song in my head after sleeping. I don't know why, but it was.
This song came out when I was a little kid. Reminds me of my childhood. I quickly associate this song with roller skating. I remember we used to roller skate to this song at Skate Depot in Cerritos wayyy back in the D.A.Y. (man, that was a long time ago). It's rumoured this song is about drug abuse. Nevertheless, it's a nice 80's torch pop ballad.

I remember I loved this song so much, it was the first cassette single that I stole from Kouls department store.

LOL!
I was in an "adult" store in LA and this song was playing on the loudspeakers. As I was perusing the variety of lubricants a clerk threw open the door to the stockroom and as he swung his arms in the air he said "Everybody!" and proceeded to loudly sing the song. I laughed my ass off! The looks on the faces of the other patrons was priceless 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
