The Sting-penned piece of shit from Cold Mountain will win, primarily because Miramax chief Harvey Weinstein typically buys the noms (and the awards). Textbook examples would include Shakespeare In Love, Gangs Of New York and Chicago.
8 noms for bloated historical epic Cold Mountain? Yup, it's gonna win. Just like Bono won for Gangs Of New York last year. I think it scores well enough on the bland-o-meter to qualify, don't you? | |

What's the title of the Sting song? I looked at the Cold Mountain soundtrack and didn't see his name listed on it.
