You gots to put some FLYING LIZARDS on there ("What's New Pussycat" is brilliant, though "Money" is their big one I spose), and some Eno-era TALKING HEADS ("Life During Wartime" or "Crosseyed and Painless")...and don't forget a smidgen of PiL, though I'm starting to veer dangerously into the territory of post-punk/no-wave...

ok folks... for the purposes of actually putting this set together I'm going to stop at 6 discs, LOL. But by all means keep putting forth your favorite New Wave tracks not mentioned yet. I've also decided to take out multiple tracks by the same artist, so i've replaced them with new tracks people have mentioned. Here is the final track listing!!! And I do plan to put this together. I have about 85% of the tracks in my collection, and I will be scouring the used CD shops and half.com to get the rest of them. Anyway - here it goes:

Lessons in Love - Level 42 19. Pop Muzik - M 20. In a Big Country - Big Country WOW i think this turned out really cool... i like the mix of well known songs and more obscure tracks, and the different styles of new waves... And the tracks by Donna Summer, Prince, Madonna and DAvid Bowie - while not normally considered "new wave" artists - definitely fit. If anybody has suggestions on where to find the following tracks, please let me know: Oblivious - Aztec Camera Working Girl - The Members New Toy - Lene Lovich Cheeseburger - Gang Of Four Nag Nag Nag - Cabaret Voltaire I Could Be Happy - Altered Images Crazy - Pylon What's New Pussycat - Flying Lizards Shack Up - A Certain Ratio On My Radio - The Selecter Let's Do Rocksteady - The Bodysnatchers Nowhere Girl - B-Movie Warm Leatherette - The Normal Dynamite - The dB's No Love Lost - Warsaw Come Again - The Au Pairs In The Beginning There Was Rhythm - The Slits And I'll post on here when I finish the set If i have trouble finding a track I might substitute another song. it might take a while, but i'm definitely going to put this together. I don't download much, so i'll be looking for the actual tracks on CD. Plus it's more fun that way anyway, kinda like a treasure hunt. If u want a copy when it's finished let me know since u contributed to the track listing
