Wonder Why There's Not A Live Barkays Record From The 70's Out On The Market?

I've never got a chance to catch these dudes live...But people tell me that they used to straight clown whenever they took the stage...I myself, even remember seeing a live performance from them on TV, and they took no prisoners. Considering this, it is a bloody shame that there is no documentation of their live show(particularly the 70's era...Mercury/Polygram Records needs to dig in those vaults 4 REAL)...Perhaps there was one out there, but I missed it. Does anybody know whether there was a live album from these funkateers from Memphis,TN?

I've never seen anything about them having a live show from back in the day but I caught them on a Sinbad special in the late '90s and if they were anything like that, I'm sure the '70s were off the chain.

Not all, but four of the six members. Bassist James Alexander and trumpeter Ben Cauley weren't in the crash.

check out this record until you come across some live Barkays:

it is some madmadmad-1970-FUNK of the highest order!!!

it has various artists recorded live at the S. Dallas Pop Fest.

it just may tide you over until you find some live Barkays.
