Anyone else agree this is one of George's shining moments? One of his best songs by far, ive caught myself hearin this lately, and although the words are very true, its just a very beautiful honest song. congrats george. lets hope for simular songs in truth on his next album.

My favorite vocals from him are probably Jesus to a child. Boring song, but beautiful vocal performance.

Was just listening to this the other day...He put his heart and soul into the vocals on that one...You can tell by listening...He said in his liner notes for Faith that the songs were the results of some things he had experienced over the course of two years prior to that album Faith coming out. It definitely sounded as if he was aiming this one at a certain someone...

Great song! It even topped the R&B charts back in the day with this. He might've been the first white artist to do it too. So he was a hit with the Pop audiences and the Soul audiences too.

Great song but I still gotta go with A Different Corner of The edge of Heaven album (Wham)...As great as the Faith album was I think Listen without Predjudice is his shining moment. Waiting for the Day still takes me back to a "moment" and will be my GM song...

George rules! He is a truly talented man. I love all his music! "Waiting for the day" is my number 1 favourite from him.

It's okay. I think I'd like it a lot more if it was either remastered or re-recorded. Something about the sound just isn't quite right.
