you need the matching car hood and brick wall. Not to start any "vendettas" on the "Music: Non-Prince" board but I take the above to be a "joke" about Aaliyah's face being over a carhood and brickwall (He wrongly confuses her with Left Eye who died in a carcrash). I'm open to other explanations, but right now I'm seeing a tactless idiot trying to get attention from genuine grievers... again good riddance. | |

I think the person was reffering to missy who seems to be painting aaliyahs face whereever she can. ie work it video and under construction album booklet and many other promo things shes done. (the jacket on the mtv awards etc). its not really being disrespectful just lighthearted maybe

Anyway, RIP Babygirl yeah. oh well, in the work it video missy just poses around an aaliyah portrait on a brick wall, also shes painted on the hood of a car along with left eye (if i remember correctly) so i dont really see how its 'blatent'. even i get irratated with missys constant tributes as i see it as a constant sad reminder which is good but its kinda depressing,but i can see why they were joking about this topic though, cos in a way its just strange to wish a dead person happy birthday, in fact its rather amusing in a twisted way. | |
