Well, as far as your list of folks you wish to reunite, well some of them did. Culture Club reunited in 2000, I think and put out a new album and a VH1 Storytellers album. All 6 Jackson brothers reunited at that tribute concert for Michael Jackson back in 2001 (I'm surprised you didn't remember that). En Vogue is coming out with a new CD sometime soon, but without a couple of original members. New Edition (without Bobby Brown, unfortunately) signed on to Bad Boy records last year and should've put out some new product, but I don't know what happened to that. But yeah, Jodeci, The Fugees, New Kids on the Block, The Deele, and Shalamar should reunite though. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

The last thing I heard from DeVante was "I'm Still Waiting" from K-ci and JoJo's debut CD. I love this cut! You're right about that whole Suge Knight thing, but actually DeVante's most recent commercial production was a track from K-Ci and JoJo's album, X, entitled "Get Back." Not really your typical DeVante Swing production, but pretty Jodeci-type signature with the vocal arrangements and whatnot. He also produced a track for Ray J's last album entitled "Wet Me" which starts off sounding like shit, but eventually grows on you (in a weird way). Last I heard, DeVante and Dalvin are doing the pre-production to Jodeci's reunion album, but this was over three years ago and the last time the public saw him (at the first annual BET Music Awards), he looked a damn mess...like he wad definitely smoking that shit. IMHO, I believe DeVante is probably still upset about how he practically was sitting on a gold mine with Missy Elliott, Timbaland, Ginuwine, Playa and Tweet and basically threw it all away because he let his ego get the best of him. Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what the future holds for him.

I had no idea she had problems pronouncing her R's. She always pronounced CoopeRs limosuine as if there was no problem. What happened? That can't be from rhinoplasty. "Climb in my fur."

I missed this one last night.
I've seen them all - loved Berlin, laughed at Flock of Seagulls, and I THINK Frankie bailed because his voice wasn't up to it. This one LOOKED to be awesome - cat fights, egoes, unburied hatchets - everything that makes a band HUGE. The Police, the Stones, Aerosmith, the Revolution, the Jacksons. In my opinion, if the whole band KNEW this girl's been touring using the name all these years, it annoyed them, but they could have just as easily gotten it together to get their own show on the road; hell, wasn't there 4 Temptations on the road at one point? Same with the Ink Spots - my bass player played with one of those, and said one time they were in a town where another Ink Spots was playing. So, it happens. And folks hate it. Whatever. Glad they got back together to play. I LOVE that show! The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

I am loving this series but this episode with Klymaxx just made me feel sad.
Although I thought the ladies did a great job at their performance, and I just am loving seeing the joy in these people's faces at seeing their old bandmates (once they get past any tensions if there are any) and being able to play together again. Also I think it's crummy of people to insult how the ladies looked. They're older (hey you're all gonna get older too and let's see how YOU look in about 30 years from now), they aren't going to look the same as they did in the 80s; and I personally thought they looked pretty darn good when they'd got themselves all glammed up for their performance. Besides, the most beautiful part is just watching these bands back together, seeing the emotions, and hearing the old songs again..brings back so many memories for *everybody*. Again, I must say how much I love these shows! Hope VH1 keeps making them. It's too bad Cheryl is being the way she is.

well...it's almost 20 years ago for me too...but i know better than to wear something that i did when i was 20 (that would be some cross-colours yellow pinstripe jeans) Nothing wrong with putting on a few pounds in the belly, (hell, that's good living!!), but just because Sheila E can still wear one leg out tights doesn't mean everybody can.

Dress your age and your body size... Actually, Sheila dresses much more conservatively now---athough still very sexily--even though she still has a great body and is beautiful! At the Family Jamm she wore jeans and an off the shoulder top. I just thought people were being kinda mean to the Klymaxx women unnecessarily.
