B-52's announce tour of Australia

They're playing the Hordern Pavillion in Sydney in March... I am so there! Should be a fun gig for all concerned.

Yeah, they've got a few shows lined up. But there's no consistent tour of the U.S. though. Just a few one-off appearances. I'll be going to Texas soon, so hopefully I can make that South by Southwest thing they'll be playing at in March.

I'm umming and ahhing over whether to go or not... Has anyone here been to a B-52's concert? What are they like in terms of playlists, showmanship, etc?

I have. I saw them in Bryant Park, New York in 2000. They were actually apart of a morning chat show segment live on location. They put on a pretty good show. It's not like the old days though. They're just old which kinda affects the energy. But they still got the great music though.
