an electronic mix

I made an electronic mix for some people because I've been feeling fresh and new wave-ish.I think the following tracklist is pretty cool stuff:

the hall of mirrors-kraftwerk

equinoxe pt2-jean michel jarre

fran schubert-kraftwerk

annie christian-joey coco

trans-europe express-kwerk

planet rock-afrika bambaata

amplified heart(album version)-everybody but the girl

policy of truth-depeche mode

salome'-u2

rock'n'roll(could never hip hop like this)-handsome boy modelling school

i'm gone-kenna

mad blunted jazz-dj cam

the metro-berlin

i ran-a flock of seagulls

lovely head-goldfrapp

in too deep-kruder and dorfmeister

I was trying to show a range of electronic styles and history.I want to make other volumes.Any suggestions?

TRON

Anything by Bjork, Aphex Twin and Tricky will do.

Something from Bowie's Berlin period, preferably Low. Like say, "A New Career In A New Town".

And ya gotta have New Order in there - best electronic band there ever was.

Thanks I'll get some of the others.Tricky and Bjork will def go on volume 2.I listen to Bowie, but I've never heard any of the Berolin stuff.I've read alot about that and I bought a Brian Eno cd called "music for airports".I will get some of that.

I really liked Mirwais' CD "Production.

Granted his work with Madonna has gotten a bit stale, but this CD has some great trax like Disco Science (with the Breeders sample), Naive Song and I Can't Wait

Naive Song or Disco Science seems like they's fit quite well with your current list...quirky electronic music that you can still feel the rockNroll roots...

oops, 1 more suggestion...Primal Scream...Screamadelica is chock-full o' good electronic music that paved the way for much of what followed in dance/pop/rock/hybrid music...

of their later work , I especially like "If They Move, Kill 'Em", "Out Of The Void" or "Stuka" off of Vanishing Point

killer electronic music, IMO

....SCREAM!!!....
