madartista said: Great song. When it first came out, I didn't like it too much, but my sister LOVED it. I used to sing the parody, "Hairless Sister" to her, and it drove her CRAYZAY!!!
I only remember, "And I'm never going to school again..." I couldn't find those lyrics, but here's Careless Pisser I feel so impure As I take your hand And lead you to the dance floor As the music dies I’m no longer dry On the floor’s a yellow stream I feel so mortified Chorus I'm going in my pants again It’s on your feet, hope I’m forgiven Though it's easy to pretend That it’s not made a pool I should have known better than to wait so long My body’s wastes cannot be held in So I'm going in my pants again When I dance with you Time can never mend A careless pisser who needs Depends To the heart and mind A sphincter in decline There's no comfort in the truth Stains are all you'll find Chorus Tonight the music doesn’t stop I wish that we could find a mop Maybe it's better this way We'd hurt each other with the way I tend to spray We could have cleaned this floor together We could have braved this stormy weather But now who's gonna dance with me Please stay Chorus Now that you've gone Now that you've gone Now that you've gone Was what I did so wrong So wrong that you had to leave me yellow [This message was edited Tue Jan 20 14:20:26 PST 2004 by madartista] That's great, I love it. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

George Michael is the Man, I love this song. It is by far one of the greatest love songs to date.
His solo career was foreshadowed with Careless Whisper, a song he wrote about a promiscuous two-timing cheater with the oddly attractive line, "Guilty feet have got no rhythm". Wham were great, but George only started to really Shine when he went Solo.

at the risk of being repetitive, this is an EXCELLENT song, though ironically at 1st, I hated this song..
maybe because it did get played a lot, once it caught on. this is 1 of those songs that.. sets a mood that is unmistakable. you can feel the hesitation, the uncertainty, the regret. the music is haunting, yet seductive. Michael's vocal delivery - very impressive. I prefer the full-length (album?) version where he does the 2nd verse at the beginning of the song before the instrumental interlude that leads to that distictive sax solo. indeed, for any real fan of Wham!/George Michael.. this song has to be in your Top 5. I'll see you tonight..

I agree, the full-length album version is amazing.I love that intro, with the 2nd verse ("time can never mend...") performed at the beginning, with those haunting synths and acoustic guitar. What a way to set this song up!

DudeDrops said: I loved "Careless Whisper" and I still am a DEVOUT George Michael fan. God, I loved Wham! sooo much. I even have Andrew's solo record "Son of Albert" which really IS as bad as you'd expect. Still, I'm a compleatist, so I gotta have it.
And George's new album is coming out in March, apparently... i didn't even know Andrew recorded an album. hmm... http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Great song!! I still jam this quite a lot...
Amazing lyrics for such a young age. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
