'Complete' Monterey Pop Festival on DVD! Including, Jimi's set, AND Otis'!
I only just descovered this the other day! BUT ONLY REGION ONE! AND, 80 euros  So I got Jimi at Berkely instead!
Anyone have the Monterey DVD's? Are they a good video transfer? Gotta be better than the Jimi @ Monterey that I Kazaa'd the other day   ..... BULLSEYE!  | |

Gotta be better than the Jimi @ Monterey that I Kazaa'd the other day This is an excellent DVD collection.It contains the Monterey Pop film,"Jimi Plays Monterey", "Shake!Otis at Monterey" and a DVD of performances that didnt make the movie.In addition, there are commentaries,interviews and photos.Historically ,this is the first and by far the best music festival ,with key performances from not only Hendrix and Redding,but also:The Who,Jefferson Airplane,Big Brother feat.Janis Joplin,The Mamas & The Papas,Canned Heat, Ravi Shankar,The Byrds,Electric Flag, etc. "...all you need ...is justa touch...of mojo hand....." | |

wowa, looks mighty cool. Definitely on my to-buy list! I love Otis' performance of Respect, and ofcourse Jimi's pyro antics! ..... BULLSEYE! | |
