Did anyone watch last night? The "american idol" skit--Was Jessica's impersination of Britney right on the nose??? Even Jessica can make her beautiful voice sound like Britney and sound like a girl who as string beans stuffed in her nose and can't sing. I thought it was hysterical.

I didn't see that part, but I saw the skit when they played Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro. She impersonated Carmen pretty good, too. I was surprised that she was kinda funny when actually trying to be.

I don't she's as dumb as she'd like us to think. The dumb schtick sells records and gets her noticed, so she uses it. She certainly has gotten a lot of leverage out of that show and her purported stupidity.

Amy Pohler's imitation of Madonna's singing was a riot...the show on a whole was so-so, but that was a pretty cute skit - one of the VERY rare moments when one of their skits ended and I wanted more.

I think quite simply there is a difference between stupidity and inexperience, and as it stands Jessica is inexperienced in life. I'll bet that she did extremely well academically. At the same time she may have been genuine in some of the more "airhead" things she says. I know from experience that this can happen, because I can see a lot of the way I used to be in the ways Jessica behaves. It comes from letting other people think and do for you.
