Amazon.com and Amazon.ca still have them listed for January 26...let's hope March is just a fluke!

Sigh...I've heard this all before...I'm desensitized at this point. Till I see the goods in front of my face at the wrecka stow, I can't get my hopes up anymore.

Exactly. I can't hear it anymore. For now, I'll focus my energy on all The Cure goodies coming out.

ICE is dead-on usually. They interview people actually involved in the process, etc... It sounds like the official release date this time... .let's hope, anyway!

I'll be interested to see what this anthology and box set are all about if they're indeed true.

I'll be interested to see what this anthology and box set are all about if they're indeed true. maybe all the extra tracks that were left off the reissues will be on the box set, but those hardly seem enough for a box set... maybe remixes, live stuff, and other unreleased material will fill it up. i guess we'll see. i assume the anthology will be a new single (or double?) disc Best Of.

I love the Eurythmics, and I've been listening to a lot of Annie Lenox's Medusa lately. She's really underrated and she has an incredible voice.

Medusa so totally rules. I wrote it off when it first came out but had a reunion with it this past year. It's now one of my favorite things she's done.

well... the Ice Magazine actually has the full article (only part is on the web site).
It goes more in depth about the reissues. It talks about how they were very choosy about the unreleased material to put on the reissues, because they want to save most of it for the Box Set which should come out in about "18 months", so it looks like they're aiming for the fall of 2005 for the box set. The article also says that the 1984 soundtrack will eventually get the reissue treatment as well, but they "wanted to focus on the main studio albums first". There was also discussion about how much better the sound is compared to the original CD releases. One of the consultants working on the project, a longtime Eurythmics fan, said he cried when he first heard the remasters, they sounded so amazing. It looks like BMG is very serious about upgrading the Eurythmics catelogue significantly. I'm getting really excited about this.
