Latoya Breaks Her Toe During Video Shoot & Couldn't Attend Arraignment That's what she gets for making another music video in the first place...
Posted on Fri, Jan. 16, 2004 LaToya Jackson Breaks Toe at Rehearsal Associated Press LOS ANGELES - LaToya Jackson broke a toe while rehearsing for a music video for her upcoming single "Just Wanna Dance," her business partner said. Michael Jackson's sister was rehearsing in Las Vegas on Saturday when she broke the big toe on her left foot, Jeffre Phillips said Thursday. "The base to a microphone stand fell off a speaker and landed right on her toe," he said. "She was rushed to the hospital." She will be "out of commission" for 10 to 12 days, Phillips said. She was told to stay off her feet until Friday, when she can start walking around. "She is scheduled to go back in the studio in two weeks," Phillips said. There will be another week of rehearsals, then the video shoot will begin, he said. Her album, "Startin' Over," from Ja-Tail Records, LLC, is due out in early spring. Jackson, 47, had planned to travel to Santa Maria Friday to support her brother during his arraignment on child molestation charges, Phillips said, but canceled the trip because "she is in so much pain.
