This concert is simply amazing. He played with Mitch Mitchel and Billy Cox.. 3 piece band with some amazing moments. One of the highlights for me was Hey Baby (New Rising Sun) This song alone was worth it for me.. He also did some great takes of "american anthem" purple haze, foxey lady, stone free, voodoo child, I dont live today. and a few others.. I own a lot of his shows, and this one definantly is at the top of my list. Not only is the entire show just amazing, but the quality to me is near perfect.. Grab this one if you run across it.

The dvd is AWESOME because it was filmed by film students and the concert footage is cut with Berkely riot footage.

Actually, the DVD is different from what I was reffering to. The live cd is said to be a bit different.. Check that out also.

I think the DVD covers highlights of both nights, whereas the cd is the second gig.

The DVD contains the film & a 5.1 mix of the same audio program of the CD (second show).
