Kelis "Attention" / Saadiq's Production OK, this song is jamming. "Tasty" is growing and growing the more I play it. Right now I'm all over "Attention." I love the chorus. The song has the late 80's mainstream R&B vibe. I feel like I just used some curl activator when I hear this track. HAHA! But yeah, Marathon is jammin' too. Raphael's production is on point

IMHO Andre 3000's track, Millionaire, is the standout track on the whole album. Sounds like an outtake from 1999 to me (anyone can tell that he was inspired by "Let's Pretend We're Married" or "Something In The Water").
I also like "Glow," but I believe Ray held back a little on with his production on this album. Nevertheless, it's still a good album.

I love Kelis - her first CD was very good also but everyone overlooked it - I guess that was before the Neptunes were so popular but they also did the production on that one.- I love this one too though - "Millionaire" is definitely my favorite, but "Attention" is also jammin- Yeah for Kelis!

"Attention" and "Marathon" will never be weak, those songs are the jams. The only two weak songs on Tasty (in my opinion) are "Protect My Heart" and "Stick Up." I could do without "Flashback" since that was on the last LP. This thread is just spotlighting "Attention" and Saadiq's production. We can get into all the "Sugar Honeys" and "Keep It Downs" in another thread.

Paisley, what you think about "Protect My Heart" and "Stick Up." I think they suck. Maybe they'll grow on me later. But I think PMH is so watered down and corny. Stick Up is just an album filler IMO.
