I saw that a live recording that was made in 1969 was coming out for Sly and the Family Stone. I have not seen the disc in the stores or been able to find out any information about it.

Has anyone else heard anything about this CD.

The planned release of Live at the Fillmore East 1968 was cancelled. Not much information was provided as to why it was released but it's probably because the bootlegging of the show increased the closer the release date approached (9/23/03)

I wish there was a live CD of Sly around the time Little Sister was singing with them (circa. 1970-72). Damn.
